Combine in a dry skillet (

chana dal,
peppercorns,
mustard ,
Chile ,
curry leaves)
) and toast over medium heat until fragrant and a shade darker, about 4 minutes:
Add In
fenugreek
Grind to a powder in batches in a spice mill or coffee grinder
Add in
turmeric
Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
